COCONUT CREEK, Fla.--(Business Wire)-- El Dorado Furniture will give away $30,000 in free furniture cards at the grand opening celebration for its new Coconut Creek location, set for this Saturday, March 28. The first 300 families to enter the new store when the doors open at 10 a.m. will receive a $100 card that can be used toward the purchase of furniture and accessories. In addition, there will be surprise giveaways every hour; live music; refreshments and snacks throughout the day; and great promotions, including buy-one-get-one-free offers. At a time when many home furnishings stores are cutting back, El Dorado is expanding. The 92,000-square-foot mega showroom is the major anchor for a new, 17-acre shopping center. Like other El Dorado showrooms, the Coconut Creek location will be designed like a village, with vintage storefronts bordering boulevards, park benches, and old-fashioned street lamps. Competitively priced furnishings for every room in the house will be on display, many of them arranged in lifestyle vignettes that help shoppers visualize what pieces will look like in their own homes. Customers will be free to browse leisurely through the new store to find exactly what they are looking for. Complementary decorating services are available. The store brings an estimated 75 new jobs to the area. With an eye to environmental responsibility, the company has incorporated many "green" elements into the design. Family-owned and operated, El Dorado Furniture has been in business in South Florida since 1967. It ranks among the top 100 furniture retailers in the U.S., and has received numerous honors and awards. The new Coconut Creek mega-showroom is located off the Sawgrass Expressway and Lyons Road exit in Broward County. www.eldoradofurniture.com El Dorado Furniture Robert Capo, 305-624-9700 Ext. 55884 roberto@eldoradofurniture.com Copyright Business Wire 2009
