announced that Carl B. Derenfeld, MBA, MSW has rejoined the company in the role
of Vice President, Strategic Solutions - Healthcare as of February 2009.
Derenfeld spent over two years with Proactive during 2006-2008.

Derenfeld`s 30-year career in healthcare covers a broad experience base,
spanning for/not-for-profit organizations and positions with the United States
Pharmacopeia (USP), Essential Group CRO/Patient Recruitment, Marketing
Technology Solutions (QualityHealth.com) and Verix (dynamic search analysis and
hotspot detection). He has also held senior positions with Baxter Corp., Boots
Pharmaceuticals, G.D. Searle, and Pharmacia. He has looked over the shoulders of
dozens of clients in 12 key therapeutic areas across Rx - OTC product switches,
and has worked with industry associations and ombudsman groups.
