James D. Wolfensohn, Former President of the World Bank, to Speak at World Affairs Council of Orange County Event

The event, hosted by the non-profit organization, the World Affairs
Council of Orange County, in partnership with the Orange County Executive
Network, is scheduled for Tuesday, April 7 at the Irvine Marriott Hotel
at 18000 Von Karman Avenue, Irvine, Ca. 92612. On April 7, right on the
heels of the G-20 London Summit where world leaders will gather to
address the global financial crisis, James Wolfensohn will speak to World
Affairs Council members and guests on the future of the global economy,
drawing on his two terms as president of the World Bank. The reception
will begin at 6 p.m. followed by a dinner presentation at 7 p.m. and a
Q&A after the speech. The public is invited to attend.

    Mr. Wolfensohn was the ninth president of the World Bank and served for 10
years. He visited more than 120 countries around the world during his term
as president. James D. Wolfensohn is currently head of Wolfensohn &
Company, LLC, a private investment firm and advisory that provides
strategic consulting advice to governments and large corporations doing
business in emerging market economies.

    World Affairs Council of Orange County is a member-driven non-profit
