Capella Announces Closing of Private Placement

VANCOUVER--(Business Wire)--
CAPELLA RESOURCES LTD. (TSX-V: KPS) ("Capella" or the "Company") is pleased to
announce that further to the Company`s news release of March 4, 2009, the
Company has now closed a private placement of 12,933,330units (the "Units") at a
price of $0.06 per Unit for a gross proceeds of $776,000 (the "Offering"). Each
Unit consists of one common share of the Company (a "Share") and one share
purchase warrant (a "Warrant") exercisable on or before March 20, 2011 at a
price of $0.15 per Share. 

The Company paid a Finder`s Fee (the "Finder`s Fee") to Varo Capital Corp. (the
"Finder") in the amount of 582,000 Shares (the "Finder`s Shares") at a deemed
price of $0.08 per Share. The Finder`s Fee represents 6% of the total dollar
value of Units subscribed for by investors introduced by the Finder to the
Company. 

All Shares issued under the Offering together with the Finder`s Shares and any
Shares issuable on the exercise of the Warrants have a hold period expiring July
21, 2009. The proceeds from the Offering will be used for general corporate
working capital and to fund the development of the Company`s Lajitas and Nevada
gold-copper properties located in the Maricunga Gold and Copper District and
approximately 700 kilometres northwest of Santiago, Chile.
