Alkermes to Webcast R&D Day on Tuesday, April 7, 2009

and Development (R&D) Day meeting being held on Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at
Alkermes` headquarters in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The webcast will begin at
8:30 a.m. EDT and will run until approximately 10:30 a.m. EDT. At the meeting,
members of the Alkermes team and guest speakers will provide an update on the
company's proprietary pipeline and overview the scientific rationale underlying
its R&D strategy.
