VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, Mar 24 (MARKET WIRE) --
Cloudbreak Resources Ltd. (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE: CDB)(PINK SHEETS:
CUDBF)(FRANKFURT: C6K) reports that it has engaged Paul D. Gray
Geological Consulting of Vancouver, BC, to initiate the drill permitting
process on its behalf with Saskatchewan Ministry of Environment for the
drill testing of each of the Company's six (6) Saskatchewan Coal
Projects. The first notice of intent and drill permit application has
been completed and was filed with the Ministry. The current drill permit
application targets the Company's "Dowd Lake Coal Property", and provides
for the drilling of up to 40 coal exploration test holes. Each of the
planned holes is targeted to test the Certaceous Mannville Formation's
near surface expression. The "Dowd Lake Coal Property" is comprised of a
total of 96 Coal Prospecting Permits covering approximately 182,000 acres
of prospective coal bearing lithologies issued to the Company by the
Saskatchewan government.

The Company has identified four distinct exploration target zones on the
large "Dowd Lake Coal Property" for drill testing. The primary target
area is the historically reported (Golconda Resources, 2000) "145 meter
coal property" (see press release dated February 12, 2009). This target
area is immediately adjacent to Goldsource's "Ballantyne Property". The
second exploration target area lies north of the "Ballantyne Property"
and south of Wapawekka Lake, and the third target area lies west of the
"Ballantyne Property" and south of Wapawekka Lake. A fourth target area
lies on the extreme west of the "Dowd Lake Coal Property" and is focused
on expanding a reported 1993 Consolidated Pine Channel coal intercept
(see press release dated February 12, 2009).

The proposed drill holes are located entirely within areas of existing
disturbance and with available access. The Company feels such an approach
will ensure that only minimal environmental impact will be incurred from
this first phase drilling program and will allow for a fast-tracked
permitting process. The drill holes will be more than sufficient for a
Phase I property assessment and will guide all subsequent Property
exploration. A map detailing the general location of the proposed drill
holes will be made available shortly on the Company's website.

The "Dowd Lake Coal Property" was deemed a strong drill target area, and
given first priority on permitting following a detailed analysis by the
Company's geological team. Preliminary drill location determination for
the Company's remaining five properties has now commenced, the results of
which, and subsequent permit applications, are expected shortly.

To date, the bulk of the Company's coal permit applications have been
processed by the Saskatchewan government. The "Company" has secured coal
exploration permits for a total of 21 full or partial townships
(approximately 475,000 acres) in Saskatchewan. This makes the company one
of the largest coal disposition landholders in the area.
