College sophomore, Bennett Resnik, answers back to the current state of the
economy by building a comprehensive platform for undergraduate and graduate
students interested in pursuing a career in consulting.

SYOSSET, N.Y., March 24 /PRNewswire/ -- The Inter-Collegiate Consulting
Network (ICCN) is the only global consulting site available to students in
undergraduate and M.B.A. programs. The ICCN allows students worldwide to
easily communicate with each other.

"I want to see the ICCN become one of the largest global networks and
resources for business students," Bennett Resnik, founder and CEO, said. "I
think that networking and building social capital is not only a perpetual
process, but in any economic climate, are essential elements of a successful
career."

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics nearly 1.9 million college
graduates are unemployed. Students interested in the consulting industry are
able to advance their career opportunities through networking and
collaboration. Members have the benefits of uploading resumes and case
studies, creating a blog, reading articles and e-books, and collaborating on
projects with other students. Students will also soon be able to read about
established professionals in the consulting industry.

"[The ICCN] is a networking site created from my own network," Resnik said.
ICCN was built upon Resnik's personal network. He developed connections with
the current ICCN staff through networking sites such as LinkedIn. Online
networking allowed him to develop ICCN without meeting his advisors in person.

Initially the ICCN was created for Resnik's own peers at James Madison
University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. The ICCN increased its network range and
was developed into a more extensive platform. The consulting site allows
students seeking careers in consulting to collaborate and network on a global
level.

The ICCN has received recognition from different publications such as
Consulting Magazine and KillerStartups.com. KillerStartups.com informs
entrepreneurs about up-and-coming sites through blogging.

Resnik followed the teachings of three books before establishing the ICCN:
"The Big Idea" by Donny Deutsch, "The McKinsey Mind" by Ethan Rasiel and Paul
Friga and "You Call the Shots" by Cameron Johnson. These readings include
interviews with the most powerful people in the business world, providing
problem-solving tools and management techniques in entrepreneurship. Students
seeking careers in the consulting industry can visit www.theiccn.com to
register an account for free.
