PRAGUE (Reuters) - The Czech center-right minority government lost a parliamentary no-confidence vote Tuesday and must resign, in a blow to Prime Minister Mirek Topolanek midway through the country's six-month EU presidency.

The cabinet will, however, stay on until President Vaclav Klaus appoints a new administration or until an election.

The main government and opposition parties have not ruled out the possibility of holding an early election ahead of regular polls due in mid-2010.
