LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Scott Caan will lead the cast of Fox's Brett Ratner-directed comedy pilot "Cop House," which is set at a halfway house for troubled cops.

Caan will play a champion marksman who suffered a nervous breakdown after his wife left him for his sister.

Also cast in the pilot is Curtiss I'Cook as an intense cop prone to random, violent outbursts.

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Michelle Trachtenberg will play a tragically unhip nurse in the NBC pilot "Mercy."

The drama centers on the friendship of three nurses.

Trachtenberg ("Buffy the Vampire Slayer") appears in the independent drama "Against the Current," which premiered at this year's Sundance Film Festival.
