MEDELLIN, Colombia, March 29 (Reuters) - Mexico will urge G20 nations to strengthen international financial organizations, coordinate fiscal measures against the global crisis and bolster support for emerging economies, Economy Minister Agustin Carstens said on Sunday.

Mexico, along with fellow Latin American G20 members, Argentina and Brazil, plans to work to raise the region's profile when the world's 20 largest economies meet in London on Thursday to discuss the global slowdown.

"We are going to seek a strengthening of the support from international financial organizations to emerging economies," Carstens said at a meeting of the Inter-American Development Bank in Medellin. (Reporting by Javier Mozzo, writing by Patrick Markey in Medellin; Editing by Maureen Bavdek)
