Talend Integration Suite Streamlines Data Collection Processes for Content and
Advertising Network`s Electronic Components Database
LOS ALTOS, Calif.--(Business Wire)--
Talend, the recognized market leader in open source data integration software,
today announced that SupplyFrame, an online component information service for
the electronics industry, has chosen Talend to help streamline its data
collection processes. Talend Integration Suite enables SupplyFrame to gather
large amounts of data from disparate sources quickly and efficiently.

Talend Integration Suite is used to automate product updates for SupplyFrame`s
online search engine for millions of distinct electronic components provided by
thousands of different sources. SupplyFrame previously used custom code to
collect and aggregate product data from various manufacturers and distributors,
which was challenging and time-consuming to create and maintain. Since
implementing Talend Integration Suite, SupplyFrame has seen a 90 percent
decrease in development time-what used to take two weeks now only takes a day to
develop.

"It is imperative for SupplyFrame to effectively aggregate and update product
information from multiple sources in real-time. Talend helps make our data
collection processes quick and easy while allowing the flexibility required to
meet our customers` needs," said Andrew Brown, vice president of content for
SupplyFrame. "Not only did Talend Integration Suite fit our technical
requirements, but its total cost of ownership over a five-year period was
approximately one-third of the cost of the least expensive proprietary
competitor--a superior offering at a competitive cost was the winning
combination for SupplyFrame."

The implementation of Talend Integration Suite provides the ability to get data
in any format, which streamlines the exchange between SupplyFrame and their
customers, and ensures faster time-to-market of the production information.
Talend also handles error conditions and guarantees the correct execution of the
collection processes, extending SupplyFrame`s reach into the cases they can
handle.

"We are thrilled to be working with SupplyFrame; its use of Talend Integration
Suite demonstrates how the accessibility, breadth of connectivity and rich
features can improve data processes for any type of organization across various
verticals," said Vincent Pineau, Talend's vice president and general manager,
Americas. "The market demand is ripe for a reliable, flexible, enterprise-class
data integration platform. With our open source approach, Talend brings a
technologically advanced and robust solution to the table, while also making it
affordable for organizations of all sizes."
