Egenera's Ken Oestreich to Speak at ITFMA and SYS-CON Cloud Computing Expo

will speak at the SYS-CON Cloud Computing Expo in New York on March 31st
at 3:25 PM, and the ITFMA conference in Atlanta, Georgia, April 3 at 9

At the SYS-CON Cloud Computing Expo, Mr. Oestreich will discuss how cloud
providers build their infrastructure management tools as well as the
generic requirements faced by those wishing to be internal or public cloud
providers. The significant focus will be on how to approach managing the

any native or virtual environment. He will also touch upon impacts on

Energy Consumption and Efficiency Metrics. This session will address how
energy consumption is measured, how to calculate and benchmark classes of
IT energy efficiency, and where IT should look for improvements. Mr.
Oestreich will also cover how to prioritize energy efficiency and capacity
improvement initiatives, including costs and payback ranges.

Ken Oestreich is vice president of product marketing with Egenera, and has
