SAN JOSE, Calif.--(Business Wire)--
Crossbow Technology, Inc., a leading developer of Inertial Systems for
commercial, general aviation and military applications, today announced the
release of its new 320-series family of entry-level inertial measurement units
(IMU320) and vertical gyroscopes (VG320).

The 320-series IMU and VG products are designed for demanding land vehicle
control environments, yet they also offer a truly cost-effective solution for
satellite antenna pointing, vehicle dynamics test instrumentation, and general
purpose inertial measurement applications. Fielded systems have accumulated well
over 100,000 hours of trouble-free operation.

With prices starting at under $1,000, these entry-level 320-series inertial
systems establish a new price/performance category for field-proven
high-reliability dynamic measurement systems. "We are very pleased to announce
the release of the 320-series family of products," said Mike Horton,
President/CEO, Crossbow Technology. "The 320-series inertial measurement systems
incorporate sensor technology that has already been validated in our high-volume
OEM customer applications, and this creates an exciting opportunity for
customers with cost-sensitive applications to apply our technology with
confidence."
