Alex Coleman Named Vice President-Sales & Marketing Operations For Verizon Wireless, South Area ALPHARETTA, Ga., March 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Verizon Wireless, owner and operator of the nation's most reliable and largest wireless voice and data network, announced today that Alex Coleman has been named Vice President-Sales and Marketing Operations for the company's South Area, which encompasses Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee. Coleman will be responsible for all of the company's sales and marketing efforts in these states. He will be based at the company's South Area Headquarters in Alpharetta, GA. With nearly 22 years of telecommunications experience with Verizon and its legacy companies, Coleman has held sales and marketing leadership positions of increasing responsibility with the company including, group president-Government & Education Channel, Verizon Business; vice president-Sales, Verizon Enterprise Solutions Group; vice president/general manager-Intelligent Network Services; and several key product marketing and product development leadership positions.
