HUNTSVILLE, Ala., March 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- ITC^DeltaCom, Inc. (OTC
Bulletin Board: ITCD), a leading provider of integrated communications
services to customers in the southeastern United States, today announced it
has been selected by AirTran Airways (NYSE: AAI), a low fare airline designed
for business travelers, to strengthen their long distance voice services with
diversity and redundancy. According to the multi-year agreement, Deltacom will
provide toll free and outbound services for AirTran Airways' three reservation
centers and its corporate headquarters.

"We believe in providing our customers with an experience worth repeating,"
said Rocky Wiggins, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of
AirTran Airways. "Deltacom has proven they understand that philosophy. Other
communications vendors should strive to emulate the accessibility and

AirTran Airways' three Georgia-based call centers are a critical customer
service component for many of its over 20 million annual travelers who prefer
to make flight reservations, changes or receive other assistance by phone.
Deltacom's nationwide toll free service, flexible routing features and service
management portal will help AirTran Airways manage inbound call center traffic
across its various locations in near real time. This flexibility is critical
to maintaining low customer hold times and preserving AirTran Airways'
commitment to customer satisfaction.

"AirTran Airways expressed a need for a partner that could understand their
requirements and deliver solutions that help them provide high quality
customer service to their passengers," said Tony Tomae, Deltacom's Executive
