SAN RAMON, Calif., March 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Armanino McKenna LLP, the largest
CPA firm based in California, today announced the formation of its Consulting
Group, which is designed to meet the needs of both growing and established
publicly traded, private corporations and nonprofit organizations.

The Armanino McKenna Consulting Group combines the firm's existing services of
Financial Consulting, Compliance and Regulatory Consulting, Business Advisory
Services, IT Solutions, Valuations Services and Litigation Support into one
cohesive organization. The Consulting Group consists of seven Consulting
partners, approximately 100 employees and represents about one-third of the
firm's revenue.

"Bringing our Consulting Group together as a seamless organization better
enables us to leverage our collective strengths and deliver even greater value
to our clients," said Tom Mescall, Partner-in-Charge of the Consulting Group.
"We have a cohesive business strategy focused on bringing key services to
clients, adapting to the market conditions and allowing us to deliver the
right resources at the right time."

Over the years Armanino McKenna's consulting engagements have grown in scale,
complexity and scope. The new Consulting Group will apply best practices in
project management and leverage its technical resources and real-world
industry knowledge to deliver 100% client satisfaction.

"One of the most successful ways our Consulting Group is helping clients
today is outsourcing missing skill sets so organizations can achieve top level
results without increasing their headcount," said Mescall.

The Consulting Group is also unveiling a proprietary management assessment
tool called CORE(TM) (Comprehensive Opportunity & Risk Evaluation). CORE(TM)
is an affordable management assessment that typically takes two to four weeks
to perform and provides companies immediate insight into key opportunities for
business improvement.

"CORE(TM) is a top-down business health evaluation that provides management
teams and/or board of directors' specific recommendations on key initiatives
that can be prioritized to improve business results," said Matt Armanino, COO
and Business Advisory Services practice leader. The holistic assessment is
conducted with senior management by consultants with operational and financial
expertise who have previously served as C-level executives in a wide variety
of industries.

"Today many businesses are operating with thin resources because of the
economy, and outside consultants must deliver bottom-line results," said Matt
Armanino. "Especially in difficult times, our clients rely on us to act as
trusted business advisors and assist them to overcome challenges and respond
to market opportunities."
