  OSHAWA, ONTARIO, Mar 30 (MARKET WIRE) -- 
GM Canada acknowledges today's statements from the Governments of Canada
and Ontario. While GM Canada has made significant progress on its
restructuring, it has not drawn financing support in Canada. The Company
expects further discussions will take place with the Governments in the
days ahead. The Company has no further comment at this time.
