Chelsea & Scott Completes Implementation of MICROS-Retail CWSerenade and Other
Direct Commerce Solutions

WESTBORO, Mass., March 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- MICROS-Retail, a division
of MICROS Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: MCRS), and leading provider of retail
technology for the specialty and general merchandise retail industry, is
pleased to announce that Chelsea & Scott, the well-known direct marketer, and
an existing customer of MICROS-Retail's Fry Open Commerce Platform (OCP),
completed its successful implementation of CWSerenade(TM) and CWValueCard(R)
on March 20, 2009. The addition of the new solutions at Chelsea & Scott makes
this the first MICROS-Retail customer utilizing Fry's OCP for its eCommerce
sites and CWSerenade Java Order Management for call center and fulfillment.

Chelsea & Scott, Ltd. has enjoyed more than 20 years of success marketing
quality products to parents of infants and children through its catalogs One
Step Ahead and Leaps And Bounds, and through its websites www.onestepahead.com
and www.leapsandbounds.com.

"Our legacy system could not provide the functionality or ease of use we
required," stated Matt Alberts, Director of Information Technology at Chelsea
& Scott. "We selected MICROS-Retail CWSerenade as it gives us the ability to
streamline our business process and eliminate pain points in day-to-day
operations. Since it uses Java and SQL Server, it integrates easily with other
solutions." Alberts and his team performed the integration.

"We're known for providing high quality merchandise, and our Website and call
center need to provide that same quality experience," stated Linda Lomax, Vice
President of Integrated Marketing for Chelsea & Scott. "The call center
interface is so easy to use, that we were handling all our own calls with
normal volume by day two. Training now takes hours instead of days."

Chelsea & Scott also went live with its first gift card solution,
MICROS-Retail's CWValueCard. The stored value card replaces its popular gift
certificates. In April, Chelsea & Scott will begin to use MICROS-Retail
CWData(TM) and Analytics which uses business intelligence to analyze
performance.

The IT staff is comfortable supporting Chelsea & Scott's mission critical
functions using solutions exclusively from MICROS-Retail. "They have been in
direct commerce longer than we have," Alberts says. "They speak our language.
When I met the MICROS-Retail staff, I sensed their commitment to maintaining a
true partnership. I am confident that they will provide any support we might
need going forward."

"We are pleased that Chelsea & Scott recognizes the value in our end-to-end
eCommerce solutions," stated John Gularson, Managing Director of
MICROS-Retail. "We look forward to a strengthening partnership, as we continue
to support its growing technology needs."
