Juice Aisle With the Launch of Trop50

Inc. (NYSE: PEP) this week launches Trop50(R), a breakthrough category
innovation delivering the goodness of orange juice with 50 percent less sugar
and calories, and no artificial sweeteners. It is naturally sweetened from the
stevia plant and along with juice squeezed from fresh oranges it delivers a
taste consumers expect from Tropicana.

This new addition to the chilled juice aisle answers the call for those who
seek less sugar and calories and want to avoid artificial sweeteners in their
diet. At 50 calories, each eight-ounce glass of the Trop50 orange juice
beverage squeezes in a full day's supply of vitamin C and is a good source of
potassium. It also provides 10 percent of the daily recommended intake of
antioxidant vitamins A and E. 

Actress Kyra Sedgwick Makes Debut as the Face of Trop50 

In addition, Tropicana has tapped Kyra Sedgwick -- the Golden Globe winning
actress and star of TNT's acclaimed series, "The Closer" -- to be the face of
Trop50. Sedgwick will appear in the new national advertising campaign - which
launches this week with a television spot and print ad to follow.
