Bio Nebraska Annual Meeting Scheduled for April 9, 2009

OMAHA, Neb.--(Business Wire)--
Bio Nebraska Life Sciences Association will be celebrating a successful year at
their 2009 Annual Meeting in Ashland, Nebraska. Join us as we hear from
bioscience industry experts and as Governor Dave Heineman presents the inaugural
Governor`s Bioscience Award on April 9, 2009. 

The public is invited to the meeting, keynote presentation and award ceremony at
the Strategic Air and Space Museum. Hors d`oeuvres will be served after the
Governor`s Bioscience Award Ceremony. 

The membership meeting will begin at 4:00 pm, and will include presentations by
Peter M. Pellerito and Lori M. Reilly. Mr. Pellerito is a senior policy
consultant in state government relations and university outreach for the
Biotechnology Industry Organization and managing director of PMP Public Affairs
Consulting in the Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. He has co-authored
numerous state and national reports on life sciences economic and business
development public policy. Ms. Reilly is vice president for policy and research
at the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA). In
addition, she leads PhRMA`s development of legislative and policy analysis and
research studies on health care issues.
