Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO):
WHAT: The Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) is hosting two public
briefings on the status of advanced biofuel production and further
hurdles to be overcome in making them widely available in the
marketplace. Executives of advanced biofuels, feedstock crop technology,
and industrial biotechnology companies will update Congressional staff
and reporters on their progress in commercializing advanced biofuels. BIO
will present principles for coordinating and enhancing existing federal
policy supporting these companies` efforts.
