Continues to Expand Third-Party Investment Management Business
NEEDHAM, Mass.--(Business Wire)--
CWCapital Investments (CWCI), a commercial real estate investment management
firm, today announced that it has hired Anthony "A.J." Sfarra as Senior Vice
President. Mr. Sfarra is charged with expanding CWCI`s separate account
investment management business. Reporting to Hugh Hall, a Managing Director with
CWCI, he will focus on client services, bringing together the various in-house
strengths of CWCI and its affiliated companies to provide value-added investment
management services for CWCI`s clients. His specific duties include developing
new business opportunities, creating investment joint ventures with financial
institutions, establishing structured financing vehicles for clients and raising
equity for new investment funds.

CWCI`s investment management business utilizes the company`s unique
infrastructure and vast experience in commercial real estate structured finance
to create and manage investment opportunities for its clients. Over the last six
months, CWCI has worked to strengthen its position in the industry and
capitalize on the dislocation in the market. The firm made several key hires,
launched an economic forecasting business with Maximus Advisors, and formed CW
Risk Management Solutions (RMS), led by Tad Philipp.

Mr. Sfarra is a 12-year veteran of the industry with a distinguished resume and
experience serving an array of clients including insurance companies, banks,
finance companies, REITs, hedge funds and private equity firms. Mr. Sfarra
served as Executive Director at Morgan Stanley where he was integrally involved
in the execution of over $100 billion in CMBS and commercial real estate CDO
transactions, financial institution coverage and capital raising. Prior to
Morgan Stanley, Mr. Sfarra worked as a director at Fitch Ratings in their
commercial real estate group.

"We continue to build an exceptionally talented team," stated Charles Spetka,
CEO of CWCI. "A.J. brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and long-standing
relationships that further strengthens what I believe to be an extremely capable
group of commercial real estate professionals."
