NEWARK, NJ, Mar 30 (MARKET WIRE) --
WHAT: A coalition of non-profit organizations led by HANDS, Inc.,
lenders and local government will announce details of a
pioneering mortgage purchase program to reclaim communities hard
hit by foreclosure. The forty-seven mortgages are on properties
located in Essex County, NJ, but the tactics and strategies of the
program to reclaim and strengthen neighborhoods hit by foreclosure
can be replicated throughout New Jersey and across the country.
The Press Conference is followed by roundtable discussion of next
steps featuring lenders, community foundations, non-profit builders
and developers and government and is open to the press.
