UnitedHealthcare Supports Magee, Miss. Tornado Victims

Action on the part of UnitedHealthcare will bring needed assistance to hundreds of victims MAGEE, Miss.--(Business Wire)-- UnitedHealthcare will deliver assistance to tornado victims, in the form of $10,000 in financial assistance to the American Red Cross and free help-line services in the town of Magee, Miss., struck Thursday morning by the tornado. Working together, in coordination with the American Red Cross, the assistance is being provided by two sister operating businesses, UnitedHealthcare by AmeriChoice and OptumHealth, and UnitedHealthcare`s parent, UnitedHealth Group. * Support for the American Red Cross - A $5,000 donation will go to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund from UnitedHealthcare by AmeriChoice, UnitedHealth Group`s Medicaid managed care business.
