Independent Engineering Analysis Prepared for Department of Defense Inspector
General Confirms Adequacy of Testing, No Immediate Vulnerabilities to
Catastrophic Failures and the Successful Performance of MWI Pumps During
Hurricanes Gustav and Ike

DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla., March 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Moving Water Industries
(www.mwicorp.com) announced today that the independent engineering assessment
of the MWI pumps supplied to New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina had been
released today by the United States Department of Defense Inspector General's
Office. The engineering assessment was prepared by Parsons and is available
at: http://www.dodig.osd.mil/Inspections/PDFs/ParsonsRep022709.pdf.

MWI was pleased to learn that this independent review confirmed the findings
of previous studies of these pumps and put to rest, once and for all, the
baseless assertions by a whistleblower who was supported by the disgraced
former U.S. Special Counsel, Scott Bloch, who was fired by the President last
December.

The independent review by Parsons concluded that the MWI pumps had been
adequately tested for their intended purpose, that there are no immediate
vulnerabilities to catastrophic failure with the MWI hydraulic pumps or their
supporting systems and that the MWI pumps performed successfully during
Hurricanes Gustav and Ike in 2008 by keeping the water levels at the
determined safe level for both hurricanes.
