Momentive Launches Niax* Low Emission Products for Slabstock Foam Applications

ALBANY, N.Y.--(Business Wire)-- Momentive Performance Materials today introduced Niax* silicones L-559, L-701, L-818 and L-820, a new line of low emission silicones that may help manufacturers of polyurethane flexible foam improve production processes, reduce emissions and enhance the performance of their products. The new family of silicones, which can be considered for use in foam formulations based on polyether polyols, typically provides reduced volatile organic compounds in finished foam products, potentially helping manufacturers meet today`s stringent emissions requirements.
