White Birch Paper Announces Market Related Downtime at Papier Masson Mill

GREENWICH, Conn., March 30 /PRNewswire/ -- White Birch Paper Company announced today that it will take market related downtime at its Papier Masson mill in Masson Angers, Quebec. The planned shutdown will take place from April 3rd, 2009 through April 13th, 2009 and will result in approximately 7,000 metric tons of reduced newsprint production. White Birch will maintain adequate inventories to ensure that its customers will not experience any service interruptions during the shutdown.
