Southern Africa suspends Madagascar from SADC

MBABANE, March 30 (Reuters) - Southern African leaders suspended Madagascar from regional grouping SADC on Monday and called on new Malagasy leader Andry Rajoelina to vacate the presidency.

The Southern African Development Community said in a communique after a summit in Swaziland that leaders of the 15-nation group will not recognise Rajoelina.
