Intel Selects ServerEngines PILOT II for Next Generation Servers

SUNNYVALE, Calif., March 30 /PRNewswire/ -- ServerEngines(TM) Corporation, a
leading supplier of silicon solutions for enterprise computing, today
announced that Intel has selected ServerEngines(TM) PILOT II, the second
generation of its popular Server Management Controller family of products, for
incorporation into all their upcoming Intel Thurley generation of server
designs.  ServerEngines PILOT II, System-on-a-chip, integrates a fully
featured BMC, Graphics Controller, Remote Video acceleration engine and a
Crypto Acceleration engine.  It also includes Server-class Super I/O
functions, dual-channel USB functions and dual 10/100 Ethernet MACs.  The
PILOT II's industry leading 3 CPU architecture results in a superior video
redirection solution more advanced than today's legacy KVM implementations.
