Praxair China to Supply Nitrogen to Chery Automobile Co., Ltd.

SHANGHAI--(Business Wire)--
Praxair China has signed a new contract to supply liquid nitrogen to Chery
Automobile Co., Ltd., one of the leading automobile manufacturers in China and a
developer of an independent Chinese-branded vehicle.

Chery, a major exporter of Chinese cars, will use the liquid nitrogen during the
heat treating process for the manufacture of automotive parts at its plant in
Wuhu in Anhui province. With its independent intellectual properties, Chery
places great importance on technical solutions related to supply.

Prior to this new contract, Praxair China supplied industrial gases to Wuhu
Bonaire Automotive Electrical Systems Co., Ltd, an affiliate company of Chery,
and to Tower Automotive (Wuhu) Co., Ltd, a joint venture between Tower and Chery
in China.
