Silicon Graphics files for Chapter 11 bankruptcy

(Reuters) - Silicon Graphics Inc SGIC.O, which makes servers and data storage products, filed for bankruptcy protection in a New York court, filings showed.

The Sunnyvale, California-based company listed assets of $390.5 million and total debt of $526.5 million in its Chapter 11 filing.

The company listed Voltaire Inc, Intel Americas and Qimonda as its largest creditors.
