CHICAGO, April 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Amid an economically challenged industry that
has seen unprecedented lawyer layoffs and downsizing over the past 6-12
months, particularly among larger law firms, two of Chicago's most successful
small to midsize firms are combining their respective strengths and setting
the stage for growth. Schuyler Roche, P.C., a full-service 40-lawyer firm and
one of Chicago's oldest with roots dating to the 19th century, and Crisham &
Kubes, Ltd., a Chicago-based group of 10 trial and appellate lawyers
practicing complex commercial and insurance litigation, will now be known as
Schuyler, Roche & Crisham, P.C. James L. Komie, former president of Schuyler
Roche, will continue to serve as president of Schuyler, Roche & Crisham, P.C.
Tom Crisham and Jeff Kubes will be members of the Board of Directors.
