SVTC Technologies Names Dr. Kenneth Kin to Board of Directors

SAN JOSE, Calif.--(Business Wire)--
SVTC Technologies, (www.svtc.com), a leading independent company providing
technology development and commercialization services to global clients, has
named renowned semiconductor marketing strategist Dr. Kenneth Kin to its Board
of Directors.

Dr. Kin, a 30-year veteran of the chip industry, served as Senior Vice President
of Worldwide Sales, Services and Marketing for the Taiwan Semiconductor
Manufacturing Company (TSMC) from 2001 to 2008. Earlier in his career, Dr. Kin
was one of the first U.S. sales executives from U.S. multinationals to market
high-tech systems in China.

Prior to TSMC, Dr. Kin also served as Vice President, Worldwide Sales and
Services of IBM Microelectronics, Vice President and Director of Operations for
the Computer Group at Motorola Inc., and has fulfilled various sales and
marketing roles for several other Asia Pacific companies.

Dr. Kin currently serves on the board of SMSC, a global, fabless semiconductor
company focused on analog/mixed signal solutions. Now retired from TSMC, he
holds the position of professor and Associate Dean for the National Tsing Hua
University`s College of Technology Management in Hsinchu, Taiwan. Dr. Kin
graduated with a Ph.D. and a master`s degree in nuclear engineering and applied
physics from Columbia University in New York, and holds a bachelor`s degree from
National Tsing Hua University in Taiwan.
