UC4 Software and Ventyx(R) Partner to Improve Processing for Utilities and Energy Companies

Today, UC4 Software, a leading global provider of workload automation,
job scheduling and IT process optimization solutions, and Ventyx(R), one
of the world's largest private software, data and advisory services
providers to the energy industry, announced a new partnership. The two
companies developed a software interface between Ventyx's Customer Suite
customer care and billing solution and UC4's advanced scheduling product
UC4 Workload Automation Suite. This provides enhanced workload automation
processing to Ventyx's Customer Suite(TM) product, allowing Ventyx's
customers to complete tasks faster, more accurately and more efficiently.

UC4 Software and Ventyx jointly developed an automation interface for the
Customer Suite product that offers a nightly batch template, management of
multi-streaming, integration with the Ventyx Reading Billing Scheduler and
letter generation. Prior to the formalization of the relationship, UC4 and
Ventyx shared more than a dozen customers. The new partnership solidifies
both companies' commitments to improve and automate workflow for utilities
and energy companies.
