Energistics Elects Two New Board Members From Aspen Technology and Infosys

HOUSTON, TX, Apr 07 (MARKET WIRE) --
Energistics, the upstream oil and gas open standards consortium,
announced today that Mr. Michael S. Strathman of Aspen Technology, Inc.
and Mr. Prasad Thrikutam of Infosys Technologies Ltd have been elected to
its Board of Directors. In addition, Mr. Tom Halbouty of Pioneer Natural
Resources, Mr. D. K. Pande of ONGC (India) and Mr. Meyer Bengio of
Schlumberger Information Services have been re-elected to the Board.

Aspen Technology's Mike Strathman brings over 37 years of energy industry
experience in all phases of oil & gas; exploration and production,
refining and marketing, technology, and finance. At AspenTech, he leads
the company's go-to-market efforts for the E&P industry. Prior to
AspenTech, Strathman spent over 30 years at Marathon Oil, a fully
integrated global oil company. Strathman earned a Masters degree in
Finance from Northwestern's Kellogg Graduate School of Management and
earned a Bachelor of Science in Systems Analysis from Miami University.

Prasad Thrikutam is senior vice president with Infosys Technologies, a

Thrikutam also manages Infosys' systems integration practice unit.
Thrikutam joined Infosys in 1995 to lead the company's southern region
business in the US. Prior to joining Infosys, Thrikutam led regional
operations for a leading integrated IT product and services company in
India and held several leadership roles in manufacturing and operations at
Bosch India. Thrikutam has a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical engineering
and MBA from the Indian Institute of Management.
