- Annual Shareholder Meeting Set for Thursday, April 23

FII) will report financial and operating results for the quarter ended March
31, 2009 after the market closes on Thursday, April 23, 2009. A conference
call for institutional investors and analysts will be held at 9:00 a.m.
Eastern on Friday, April 24, 2009. President and CEO J. Christopher Donahue
and CFO Thomas R. Donahue will host the call.

Federated's Annual Shareholder Meeting will be held at 4:00 p.m. Eastern on
