Who's Who in Information Security in Central Region Recognized

ATLANTA, GA, Apr 07 (MARKET WIRE) --
Executive Alliance, creator and provider of premium leadership

winners of the 2009 Information Security Executive (ISE) of the Year
Central Awards held on Thursday, April 2, 2009 at the Westin Park Central
Hotel in Dallas, Texas. The Awards recognize information security
executives and project teams for outstanding achievement in risk
management, data asset protection, compliance, privacy and network
security. Eligible nominees represented the states of Arkansas, Illinois,
Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska,
North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas and Wisconsin.
Phil Agcaoili, Senior Manager of Global Information Security Assurance &
Consulting at Dell Corporation, was announced as the Central Information
Security Executive of the Year in front of his peers during the gala
ceremony on Thursday evening. The judges were impressed with his vision,
his ability to influence his organization, drive change, and his
involvement and commitment to the information security community.
Finalists for the Information Security Executive of the Year Central
Awards were also recognized for their achievements in the industry and
were showcased during the awards program. In addition to Phil Agcaoili,

The Information Security Project of the Year for the Central region
was awarded to AmerisourceBergen Specialty Group, for their work efforts
and innovation in managing data privacy through the full life cycle of

Operation, accepted the award on behalf of the team.
Finalists for the Information Security Project of the Year Central Awards
were also recognized for their achievements in the industry and were

who best exemplifies information security leadership as voted on by the
registered attendees.
