Celebrate the Bee's Knees of PR in Denver

DENVER, April 7 /PRNewswire/ -- The Colorado Chapter of the Public Relations
Society of America (PRSA) hosts its annual Gold Pick Awards May 7 at the
Ritz-Carlton in downtown Denver. At this rip-roarious affair, top
communications professionals will gather to celebrate the success of public
relations in Denver. Winners of the prestigious Gold Pick and Silver Pick
awards will be announced during the celebration, which also includes
entertainment, a live auction and a special award presentation.

Guests are in for an evening of grandeur, swank and old-world charm. The
Denver Business Journal'sBruce Goldberg and job list impresario Andrew Hudson
will lead the ceremony and will present the highest PR honors and special
awards for Business Person and Public Relations Person of the Year.

Top students involved in PRSSA, the collegiate leg of the organization, offer
themselves up on the sale block. A fast-paced auction will pair the highest
bidder with a student from CSU to be their personal assistant, act as their
social media coach or to fulfill any other business use for a day. The
students will gain valuable insight into the industry, and businesses can gain
a fresh perspective from the next generation of PR pros.

The event begins at 5:30 p.m. with registration, networking, cocktails and
heavy hors d'oeuvres. An energetic pianist will set the mood with ragtime
favorites as Denver's best takes advantage of the great networking
opportunity. At 7 p.m., the emcees will start the ceremony honoring the
evening's winners. The student auction takes place during intermission.
Individual reservations for PRSA Colorado members are $75, non-PRSA Colorado
