Linklaters Adds Leading Tax Attorney to New York Office

Lewis Steinberg joins as Co-Head of US Practice and Head of US Tax
NEW YORK--(Business Wire)--
Linklaters today announced that Lewis R. Steinberg, one of the nation`s leading
tax lawyers, will join the firm`s New York office as Co-Head of the US Practice
and Head of the US Tax Practice. 

Mr. Steinberg was previously the Managing Director and Global Head of the
Strategic Solutions Group in the Investment Banking Department at UBS Securities
LLC, a position he has held since 2005. 

Prior to joining UBS, Mr. Steinberg was a Partner and Co-Head of the Tax
Department with Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP, where he specialized in corporate,
partnership and international tax, focusing on mergers and acquisitions,
financial products and corporate finance transactions. Mr. Steinberg joined
Cravath as an associate in 1984 and was elected partner in 1991. Mr. Steinberg
is also a former chair of the New York State Bar Association Tax Section.
