AT&T Center to Host Children's Vision Screenings

SAN ANTONIO, April 7 /PRNewswire/ -- San Antonio area EyeMasters retail stores
and Davis Vision eye care professionals are teaming up with the San Antonio
Spurs tomorrow at the AT&T Center to provide free vision screenings for
children who are uninsured or have minimal insurance coverage. The screening
will be held from 3:30 - 5:30 p.m.

A voucher for a complimentary eye examination and a free pair of eyeglasses
from participating EyeMasters stores will be provided to children in need of
follow-up services after the initial screening. Eye care professionals will be
using screening equipment to test each child's eyes for existing and potential
vision problems.

"Professional eye care can be expensive for families who do not have access to
affordable vision benefits," said Laura Dyer, assistant vice president,
Community Outreach and Media Relations for Davis Vision. "That's why we are
very happy to be a part of this important event."

Davis Vision, EyeMasters and Eye Care Centers of America have a long history
of involvement in local community outreach programs, and regularly sponsor
free vision screening clinics for children.
