The rally will include a speakers program by Labor Leaders and workers followed by the delivery of hundreds of signed letters and post cards from workers asking Senator Arlen Specter to reconsider his recently announced decision to oppose the legislation. Labor leaders and workers will deliver the postcards and letters to Senator Specter's nearby District Office. The Pennsylvania AFL-CIO Working Families Bus will also provide good visuals for still and video photographers. The AFL-CIO is also kicking off a new television ad campaign in Pennsylvania and in other key states around the nation this week showcasing the growing support for the Employee Free Choice Act. The ad entitled "Fabric" features workers calling for a fair share in today's economy and for passage of the Employee Free Choice Act.
