Standard Process Awards Scholarships at NCLC 2009

PALMYRA, Wis.--(Business Wire)--
Standard Process Inc.®, a Wisconsin-based manufacturer of nutritional whole food
supplements, awarded $10,000 in student scholarships at the 2009 National
Chiropractic Legislative Conference (NCLC) in February. The scholarships were
given on behalf of Standard Process and the American Chiropractic Foundation
(ACF). 

The four students receiving scholarships were: Lindsey Baillie (Northwest Health
Science University); Stanton Hom (Southern California University of Health
Sciences); Mario Melendez (Southern California University of Health Sciences);
and Natalie Regalado (National College of Chiropractic). Winning essays are

Each student received $2,500 from Standard Process. This was the first year
Standard Process and the ACF offered the scholarship program. 

To participate, a student had to be an active student member of the ACA (SACA),
submit their current curriculum vitae, craft a 500-word essay on the role of
nutrition in the chiropractic practice, and attend the 2009 NCLC. Essays were
reviewed by an independent panel of five reviewers.
