SkyWest, Inc. Reports Combined March Traffic for SkyWest Airlines and Atlantic
Southeast Airlines

ST. GEORGE, Utah, April 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SkyWest, Inc. (Nasdaq:
SKYW) reported a 10.3 percent decrease in revenue passenger miles (RPMs) for
March, while available seat miles (ASMs) decreased 8.5 percent compared to the
same period last year. The combined airlines generated 1.40 billion RPMs for
the month, while ASMs decreased to 1.80 billion. Load factor was down 1.6
percentage points to 77.6 percent compared to 79.2 percent for the same period
last year. Passenger boardings for March totaled 2,797,007 a 6.9 percent
decrease from March 2008.

SkyWest Airlines, based in St. George, Utah, and Atlantic Southeast Airlines,
Inc. ("ASA"), based in Atlanta, Georgia are wholly owned subsidiaries of
SkyWest. SkyWest Airlines operates as United Express, Delta Connection and
Midwest Connect carriers under contractual agreements with United Airlines,
Delta Air Lines and Midwest Airlines. ASA operates as a Delta Connection
carrier under a contractual agreement with Delta Air Lines. System-wide,
SkyWest serves a total of approximately 211 cities in the United States,
