Pennsylvania Health Secretary to Visit Luzerne County During National Public
Health Week

Pennsylvania Department of Health Secretary Everette James will visit Pittston
and Hazleton on Wednesday, April 8, as part of National Public Health Week.

At 1 p.m., he will visit Wesley Village Retirement Community in Pittston to
applaud its new worksite wellness program and attend a round table discussion
with Luzerne County companies that have already made wellness a priority for
their employees.  

At 3:45 p.m., he will visit Heights Terrace Elementary School in Hazleton to
recognize an after-school program run by the Hazleton YMCA/YWCA designed to
promote physical activity in children and healthy food choices.
