Lincoln Memorial Stages One of the Nation's Largest Easter Sunrise Services,
With Over 5,000 in Attendance Each Year

WASHINGTON, April 7 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- A Washington Tradition for 31
years -- On Easter Sunday morning, April 12, 2009, over 5,000 people will
gather at the Lincoln Memorial for one of the nation's largest Sunrise
Services, hosted by Capital Church of Vienna, Virginia, Pastor Amos Dodge.

At 6:30 a.m., as the sun begins to rise over the Capitol dome, the mall will
ring with sounds of celebration as Pastor Dodge leads those in attendance in
the hope-filled proclamation and celebration of Easter's message.

"This is not an event we sponsor but an assignment we have to our city, nation
and world," says Pastor Dodge. "To joyfully, powerfully and boldly proclaim
that 'Jesus Christ is Risen!'"

The annual interdenominational service will include worship, live orchestra
and choir.

Those attending are encouraged to dress comfortably. A coat or a blanket is
suggested for the often brisk morning. Directed parking provided.
