HEBRON, KY, Apr 07 (MARKET WIRE) --
BlueStar, the leading innovator in solutions-based distribution for Auto
ID, Point-of-Sale, Mobility, and RFID products, has relocated their
Global Headquarters to Hebron, KY. BlueStar's new facilities are located
at 3345 Point Pleasant, Hebron, KY, just 3 miles from the
Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. "BlueStar's
relocation has been seamless and was executed successfully with zero
disruption in operations," says Mark Fraker, BlueStar's Vice President of
Marketing. "Not only have we expanded our infrastructure with a
state-of-the-art distribution center, we have established a new corporate
office to facilitate our rapid global expansion," Fraker continued.
BlueStar's new facility is considered an important accomplishment in
global distribution, professional services, and environmental awareness.
The facility showcases a warehouse and distribution center with the
capability for future expansion, and a global training center using the
latest wireless access ports with hardware and software from Motorola.
With the new facilities BlueStar expanded its recycling of waste to 70%
and installed energy efficient motion sensor lighting in the warehouse.
With the assistance of Elo TouchSystems, UnyTouch Manufacturing, and
Hewlett Packard, BlueStar has embraced "place-based media" and
"narrowcasting" digital solutions throughout the building for
educational, promotional, and customer support purposes. Zebra
Technologies was instrumental in establishing new wireless
close-proximity security systems for the warehouse and offices.
BlueStar's Value Added Resellers will benefit from greater efficiency
through BlueStar's use of Datalogic high-speed, in-line scanners which
dispatch shipments at a higher volume and increase BlueStar's accuracy to
100% on carrier compliance. As well, VARs will profit from the use of
software which sends electronic notifications to warehouse and
distribution management allowing them to actualize preemptive and
proactive shipping solutions. Furthermore, BlueStar is stimulating
reseller entitlement to operate internationally through reducing or
eliminating tariff, duty, and tax by shipping globally from BlueStar's
regional distribution centers in Canada, Latin America, and Europe.
The new Global Headquarters empowers resellers to employ more of
BlueStar's added values including innovative industry trainings, pre- and
post-technical support, and customizable marketing programs. The global
training center is capable of hosting multiple training venues
simultaneously including marketing/business development workshops, product
education, and solution bundling with best of breed software and hardware
applications. To meet increasing reseller demand for custom integration
and support, BlueStar expanded its integration and repair center as well
as the customer support and call center to continue to deliver the most
advanced level of RFID, POS, AIDC, and Mobility services in our industry.
"BlueStar's relocation to a Global Headquarters of this magnitude is
emblematic of our character and direction in the present and future global
solutions-based distribution market," summarized Steve Cuntz, BlueStar's
Chief Executive Officer.
