BRATISLAVA, April 7 (Reuters) - Here are news stories, press reports and events to watch which may affect Slovak financial markets on Tuesday.
C.BANK FORECASTS
The central bank will publish the quarterly update of its economic forecasts. Governor Ivan Sramko will not attend the acompanying news conference, 1100 GMT.
CAR INDUSTRY OUTLOOK
Representatives of Slovakia's car industry will hold a news conference on outlook for the sector.
SLOVAK PM SAYS MEDIA BOOST 'HUNGARIAN EXTREMISM'
Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico threatened on Monday to take unspecified measures against the media for what he called promoting extremist forces from neighbouring Hungary.

Prime Minister Robert Fico said he would quit politics by 2014, responding to speculations he might be preparing ground for running for a president in five years.

PRIVATE PENSION SYSTEM
Almost 11,000 Slovaks left the private pension system and returned to the state-run scheme by April 3. The ministry of social affairs expected some 150,000 Slovaks to quit the private scheme by end-June and included such assumption in the state budget.

The state-run health insurer Vseobecna Zdravotna is facing financial difficulties. It expects a loss of 63 million euro this year and its available cash totalled 5.7 million euro as of Monday, covering only one-day of expenditures.
