KOHLBERG KRAVIS ROBERTS

KKR, the private equity firm, named Arthur Brohinsky as a director to lead its Lean Six Sigma efforts, and said he will join its KKR Capstone portfolio operations team. Brohinsky previously worked at SmartOps, a provider of manufacturing and supply chain software and consulting services, where he was most recently executive vice president. He will be based in New York.

KNIGHT CAPITAL GROUP INC NITE.O

Knight Libertas LLC, a broker-dealer unit of Knight Capital, named Terran Miller director of fixed income research. Miller joins from UBS AG (UBSN.VX), where he was executive director of global credit strategies.

CHEYNE CAPITAL MANAGEMENT LLP

The alternative asset manager named Chris Goekjian as partner and chief investment officer reporting to Chief Executive Jonathan Lourie. Goekjian most recently was CEO and CIO of London-based fund of funds manager Altedge Capital Ltd, which he founded and which will now be integrated with Cheyne over the next six months.

CHADBOURNE & PARKE

The law firm named three partners in its bankruptcy and financial restructuring practice: Douglas Deutsch, Seven Rivera and Andrew Rosenblatt. Deutsch, 39, represents debtors, secured and unsecured creditors and creditors' committees. Rivera, 34, represents lenders, creditors, debtors and creditors committees in high-profile Chapter 11 cases. Rosenblatt, 36, advises borrowers and lenders in out-of-court restructurings, as well as lenders in Chapter 11 cases.

SHEARMAN & STERLING

The law firm announced the return of Michael McGuinness as a partner in its global M&A group following a stint at General Electric Co (GE.N) that began in 2004. McGuinness, who most recently served as the general counsel of one of GE's business units, will aim to strengthen Shearman & Sterling's global M&A capabilities, with a special focus on Latin America.

JEFFERIES AND CO INC

The wealth-management company and a principal operating subsidiary of Jefferies Group Inc (JEF.N) named Markman Peters as managing director and head of the firm's wealth-management group. He joins the company from SunTrust Bank.

KNIGHT LIBERTAS LLC

The unit of Knight Capital Group Inc NITE.O and an institutional fixed-income broker-dealer named Terran A. Miller as director for its fixed-income research. He joins from UBS.

DELOITTE

The business advisory firm named Nick Robinson as director in its reorganization services team. Robinson, a former restructuring and distressed funds attorney with Walkers, an offshore law firm, will be working closely with Deloitte's funds advisory team.

CLOSE INVOICE FINANCE

The independent provider of factoring and invoice discounting services and a part of merchant banking group Close Brothers Group Plc named Ian Steward as managing director for the North England. He was previously with Five Arrows Commercial Finance, NM Rothschild's invoice finance subsidiary.

T. ROWE PRICE INTERNATIONAL INC (TRPI) (TROW.O)

The investment-management company named Christopher Alderson as its president and chief executive following the retirement of David Warren. The company also hired Anna Nye as director of operations and Sally Patterson as general manager. Nye joins from Russel Investment Group, while Patterson has been with T. Rowe for more than 19 years.
