DALLAS--(Business Wire)-- Safeguard Security Holdings, Inc. (OTC:SSHS), a provider of corporate and industrial security systems and personnel, announced today that its subsidiary, SYSTEMSgroup Training Academy, has expanded its security officer training services to include Level IV certification, weapons certification and safety training. SYSTEMSgroup maintains a full-service training facility with licensed training instructors on staff that provide specialized training related to security management, supervision, investigation, instructional techniques, weapons training, and customized training in security management of corporate internal affairs. SYSTEMSgroup Training Academy is one of four accredited academies in the North Texas area that offer this level of security training and detail. Training is a core business unit within Safeguard, and through expansion of this service offering, allows SYSTEMSgroup to train outside the Company to other agencies that desire a privatized security force for large corporate environments, where security is performed "in-house." This also provides opportunity for the Company to gain additional market share in the local region. R. Michael Lagow, CEO of Safeguard, added, "Training is a vital component of SYSTEMSgroup and providing solid training techniques mitigates risks associated in performing our security assignments for our clients. We anticipate additional revenues in excess of $2 million this year alone."
