Pipeline of Customer Projects Fuels Expansion for Remainder of 2009 and 2010
SOLANA BEACH, Calif.--(Business Wire)--
ioko, a technology firm specializing in designing, building and running
world-class IT platforms on behalf of Telecommunications, Media and
Entertainment enterprises, today announced record growth and a successful
expansion into the North American market in 2008. ioko North America added 3 new
major customers, two telecommunications and one media customer, to the company`s
worldwide client portfolio. The success is largely attributed to the growing
demand for the company`s expertise to design, build, manage and support large
media and entertainment platforms for a customer base anxious to rapidly deploy
new consumer services across TV, mobile, PC and other connected devices.

"Last year at NAB, we launched ioko North America with the objective of closing
a few major customers, building out our capabilities and presence, and making a
significant revenue contribution to the overall company. We hit our objectives
and are building a robust pipeline to expand further," said Scott Sahadi, ioko`s
North American CEO. "Even in the face of a challenging economy, we have been
fortunate to win exciting new projects with major brands which has validated our
business model. Customers trust us to get their complex and strategic technology
projects to market, on time and on budget."

ioko has made significant investments over the past year in building out the
technical team, provisioning data center infrastructure for its managed service
offering, and expanding its operational capabilities to compete in North
America. The company plans to increase its North America headcount by over 50%
over the remainder of 2009 to meet the growing demand for its services.

"Due to the current state of the global economy we are approaching our growth
with caution, but we see clear signs of strength in the sectors we provide
technology services to, and we will position ourselves to take advantage of
those opportunities," added Mr. Sahadi.

Since its inception in 1996, ioko has grown to become a trusted technology
partner and thought leader in the digital Media & Entertainment sector. ioko has
grown to more than 300 employees doing business in North America, Europe and
Asia Pac for major global brands. ioko`s primary services are application
development, systems integration and managed services for complex media and
entertainment platforms.
